Who we are
Forest Trails is our name, local hiking is our game. We are Forest Trails Hiking Club – an informal collective of kindred spirits from all around Chicagoland who are drawn together to celebrate our shared passion for – wait for it – hiking!
Wait, what? Hiking in Chicago? Yeah, yeah, we know what you’re thinking, and we hear you – where can we possibly be hiking anywhere near The Windy City? Well, we kid you not, scenic wonders abound within a reasonable driving distance of 41°51′00″ N and 87°39′00″ W, for those with the eyes to see it. Join us any Sunday and find out for yourself! Don’t worry, non-members are always welcome.
